Good Thing Bad Thing – Shark Bite

Good thing: I have a car.
Bad thing: The windshield wipers stopped working on my way to the hospital.
Good thing: If I looked realllllly low I could see out of the windshield.
Bad thing: I was going to the hospital because Caroline fell and got stitches in her knee that are now infected.
Good thing AND bad thing: She was in the Dominican Republic when she got the stitches.
Bad thing: The pants she wore were rubbing against her stitches.
Good thing: I said I would get her scrubs to wear.
Bad thing: She don’t want no scrubs. 😉
Good thing: I dared her to tell the doc that she got bit by a shark.
Another good thing: She did! (Doc laughed her ass off!)
Bad thing: I owe Caroline $20

Insomnia Thoughts…

Insomnia thoughts 💭
What is a woodchuck? And why are we pressuring him to chuck so much wood? Do watermelons actually grow down by the bay? I don’t think they do. 🎶 Backstreet’s back ALRIGHT!”

How To Be A Good Listener – Which ‘Pot’ Are You?

Insomnia Thoughts

Flintstones. Meet the Flintstones” 🎶 What does google really mean? Remember when phones had those really long cords that would get hopelessly tangled? Remember Tretorn shoes, Vaurnet hyper colour shirts and jelly bracelets? I guess we can’t say “penny for your thoughts” anymore. Bad boys, bad boys. Whatcha gonna do? 🎶 Why does Walter smell like corn chips? Does anyone actually like pickled onions? If I married David Beckham would we be nicknamed ‘Harham’? Or ‘Beckris’? “WILMA!”

Reason And Season For Change

On this episode of BrainStorm I share about how sometimes it takes time to have the proverbial ‘door open’ and that is ok. I thank my wonderful friends from Wings Of Change for reminding me of that.

Good Thing Bad Thing (Flat Tire Edition)

Good thing: I have a car.
Bad thing: It got a flat tire again (2nd in a month).
Good thing: I have CAA.
Bad thing: “Due to high call volumes they are not accepting any calls other than road side assistance”.
Good thing AND Bad thing: I was in my driveway.
Good thing: Jon came by and kindly offered to put the spare on for me.
Bad thing: We both got snotcicles
Good thing: I have someone clear my driveway snow.
Bad thing: They suck and I got stuck while trying to drive to the tire shop.
Good thing: I got un-stuck and then left a ‘lovely’ voicemail on said snow removal companies’ voicemail telling them that I need them to come by.
Bad thing: By the time I got home from the tire shop the snow removal company had not been by (probably because ‘lovely’ voicemail actually means nasty voicemail) and then when Caroline wanted to take Adam to the mall my only words of wisdom to get out of the driveway were “GUN IT”.
Good thing: She gunned it 😀
